Do you know that video marketing is one of the trend in 2018?

Customers these days want short but useful content that is highly engaging and capable to tell a story. What can convey all of those better than a video?

More and more companies prefer to use video as their marketing tool. It’s more interesting and engaging than still images or long text or even the previous trend – infographic.

If you want to catch up to this trend, whether it’s for your product brand or personal brand, you’ll want to start providing video content in your website.

After you create the video, you’ll need a place to host it. We don’t recommend you to upload the video directly to your website. First, it wastes your space (if you have limited storage space, that is). Second, not every host is built to play video content, causing your customers to experience unpleasant experience while watching your video. They may get choppy and lagged video. Your message from the video won’t come across, and all your customers get from watching it will be mild irritation and frustration.

YouTube Video for Your Website

If you want to add video content to your website, we recommend you to host it somewhere else. There are many websites that provide this service. From YouTube (that seems to be a household name already) to RapidShare, OpenLoad, Vimeo, and many others. From free to paid.

If you’re planning to share free video content, then your best option is YouTube. YouTube is free, easy-to-use, and currently is the more popular video-sharing platform.

On the other hand, if you’re planning to make paid video content, YouTube is not your option because it doesn’t provide the service. You can, however, choose to monetize your video. YouTube will put advertisement at the beginning (or in the middle, if your video is long) of your video and you’ll receive part of the revenue from it.
